Our multi award winning, hatted restaurant and Brisbane institution, ecco bistro, first opened its doors in 1995, located in a historic warehouse on the fringe of Brisbane’s CBD. In March 2018, e’cco’s new home at Haven, Newstead houses a new multi faceted venue, with the same e’cco flair, food and service that foodies have become accustomed to.
Philip Johnson has designed a state of the art kitchen, which includes a Brazilian Parilla Wood and Charcoal Grill’, that will take centre stage in the cooking of beef, poultry, fish and vegetables.
Dining at e’cco provides a variety of experiences, from our restaurant dining, where we offer a variety of seating options, including kitchen counter, bar and our exclusive ‘Sunken Dining’ area (seats up to 12, only available through our direct booking line). Also, our Private Dining Room, with offers amazing views over the illuminated gasometer accommodates up to 35 guests seated and 65 guests standing.
